Xtreme Marine Surveying was founded by a lifelong Floridian with a passion for the boating lifestyle and a diverse background as a mate, boat detailer, marine mechanic, and field engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering.
By combining extensive marine engineering experience from the engine room to the helm, hands-on training under a certified marine surveyor, and more than 25 years of practical experience working on and evaluating boats, I provide professional, thorough, and unbiased assessments of vessels of all types
My mission is to identify and document problems before they become costly repairs or compromise the safety of the vessel and everyone aboard. Every survey is performed with integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to helping you protect your investment

As a SAMS Accredited Marine Surveyor (AMS), I maintain the rigorous professional standards established by the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors. Earning and maintaining this accreditation requires ongoing continuing education, ensuring I remain current with evolving marine technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
Integrity is the foundation of every survey I perform. I adhere to the SAMS Code of Ethics, providing independent, unbiased evaluations while presenting all relevant findings honestly and avoiding conflicts of interest. My commitment is to deliver accurate information that helps clients make confident, informed decisions.
My specialization is in recreational power and sailing yachts and small craft (Y&SC). I am also an ABYC Certified Advisor and a member of BoatUS, allowing me to stay connected with the latest developments in marine engineering, vessel construction, safety standards, and the boating industry..
